SO MANY SMILES!!!

I just can't believe how HAPPY my baby boy Joss is! He smiles and laughes all day long! He will just smile at nothing! It melts my heart. Darcy never seemed to smile this much because of the discomfort of the reflux, and I dont remember Erin being such a smiley baby... Just had to share some of the many smiles and little laughes we get everyday! He is such a good baby! He sleeps up to 12 hours overnight, only waking for a feed and back to sleep. Now, you cant complain about that at just 10 weeks old!! I am going to start getting him used to day sleeps in his big cot in with Darcy soon too, but baby steps right now, as he is my baby and I dont want him growing up and faster than he has too!! He has his first immunisation in a week, and another visit with the MCHN so will be interesting to see how my baby boy is growing! He certainly is chubbing up! He has almost outgrown all his 000 clothes! Seemed like yesterday I was dressing Darcy in those exact clothes!!

First Day of Kinder!

Today is Erin's first day of Kinder! Off she went with her dad a little while ago, sadly mum had to stay home with Joss and Darcy, but great she can share this time with her daddy. She goes for 2 hours today with a parent and 2 hours for the next 3 sessions before graduating to full time Kinder. 4 hours monday's, 3 hours tuesdays and 3 hours thursdays. I cant wait to hear all about it, how she goes with her new teacher (which she already knew from attending the same kinder for 3 year old pre-school) This year her teacher is Mrs. Haworth and I have been told she is a great teacher, last year she celebrated her 20th year teaching at Erin's kinder, Mt Evelyn Memorial Pre-school. A little hard to believe that this time next year she will set off to school!! She has grown up so quickly! We are so proud of the little girl she has become...

2 Months old

My little man is 2 months old tomorrow! He is growing so very fast, if only I could hold him this little forever! well, at least a bit longer! Joss is breastfeeding like a little champ and gaining around 350gms a week. He is now 4.8kgs, which is almost 1kg lighter than the other two babes at the same age. Joss is sleeping well too which is a relief when you still have to care for the other two troopers during the day. Erin and Darcy are still madly in love with their new little brother. Erin is a fantastic helper looking after Joss while I fix lunch or change Darcy or even grab a shower. I have come out a few times to her asking if the cradle is ready for Joss because she has got him off to sleep by patting him on the bottom and singing him a song. She will make a fantastic mum, she is very patient with him. I have a new task of introducing a bottle of expressed breast milk to Joss in the coming weeks as I venture back into the working world. I am not really looking forward to it at all! I guess after being home since mid October last year, I have gotten used to spending all my time with my babes! But it is something I have to do for our family, and I know my babes will be fine as per normal at home with their daddy. In the coming week I also have to take my babe off to get his 2 month immunisation...but his big sister is getting 'jabbed' too so he will have sympathy from her. Happy 2 month Birthday Joss Arron!!
